Here's the match video of Amanda Lemos vs Livinha Souza from last night's UFC show in Las Vegas. This fight is at Strawweight. Amanda is 33 years old from Para, Brazil. She trains with former UFC fighter Iuri Alcantara and his brother. After coming off a drug suspension, she has looked pretty good in the UFC. Livinha is a former Invicta champ who has had mixed results in the UFC. The fight doesn't last very long. Amanda drops Livinha with a jab but is not quite able to finish her. So she lets Livinha get up and then hits her with what someone called a "power jab". That second knockdown was enough for the ref to stop the fight. Because of her age, I expect Amanda to get fast tracked to the rankings. I would like to see her against a ranked fighter. She's looked good so far. Enjoy the video.
