Fans of Freestyle dance music may recall this 1994 single by Buffy Solango. Similar to other Freestyle artists, Buffy only scored the one club hit single and never recorded again. Historically, Freestyle artists are disposable. I really don't have any bio info about Buffy except she is from California and of Philippine descent. Give Me..A Reason was released in 1994 on Velocity Records. The song was a big enough club hit that Buffy got to record an album. The writer and producer of the album was Dadgel Atabay. He has worked with Freestyle legend Stevie B. First Love was released in 1996. Velocity released a couple more singles. But neither caught on and the album didn't sell. It's still available. It turned out to be Buffy's only album. There are plenty of remixes of Give Me..A Reason. The continued popularity of the song has allowed Buffy to perform live and tour with other Freestyle one hit wonders. Here's Buffy performing Give Me...A Reason at Winter Jam in San Antonio, TX.
