Here's the match video of Lauren Murphy vs Roxanne Modafferi from last night's UFC show in Las Vegas. Of the four women's fights on this show, this one was the worst. Though both are ranked in the Flyweight division, I don't think either is good enough to contend for the title. The first round was a good example. Neither of them did much of anything. I guess I scored it 10-9 for Roxy very marginally. The turning point of the fight was when Lauren rocked Roxy early in round two. Roxy was never the same after that. But it's not like Lauren was more aggressive and went for a finish. She cruised to a unanimous decision win. It didn't make me think that she has anything for Valentina Shevchenko. What's funny is if Lauren wins one more fight, she could get that title shot. check out the video for yourself.
