Artist:Ty England
Song:Should've Asked Her Faster
Album:Original Hits: Total Country: The Kings of New Country

Should've Asked Her Faster was a top five country hit in 1995. It is to date the only big hit for Ty England. He played guitar with Garth Brooks before going solo. He was born Dec. 5, 1963 in Oklahoma City. He was in bands during high school. While attending Oklahoma State University, England met Brooks and they became roommates. When Brooks got a record deal, he hired England to play guitar and sing background vocals. After touring with Brooks for several years, England got his own record deal with RCA and veteran producer Garth Fundis who was best known for producing Alabama. Should've Asked Her Faster was the first single from England's 1995 debut album Ty England. It reached #3 on the Country Singles chart. The song was written by veteran songwriters Al Anderson and Bob DiPiero and Joe Klimek. England recorded two albums for RCA and that was his only big hit. You can get it on this various artists budget CD. Brooks got England a deal with Capitol and he also produced the 1999 album Highways & Dance Halls. England even re-recorded Should've Asked Her Faster with Steve Warriner. There were no hits and the album didn't sell. Since then England continues to perform. He released the 2007 album Alive and Well and Living the Dream on his own label. Here's the video for Should've Asked Her Faster by Ty England.
