Unspoken is a CCM group whose musical style is folk rock. They had success with the 2014 album Unspoken. They seem to be having personnel problems right now. They are from Nashville. Lead singer Chad Mattson and guitarist Mike Gomez met while on a missionary trip to the Dominican Republic. When they returned to Nashville, Mattson called his childhood friend Jon Lowry. Lowry plays keyboards, guitar, bass and he sings. So he's a useful guy. They added drummer Ariel Munoz after they saw him at a talent contest. Unspoken signed with Centricity and after a couple of singles charted on the CCM chart, they released the 2014 album Unspoken produced by Seth Mosely and Jason Walker. Mosely was the leader of the CCM band Me in Motion. He got into studio work after they split up. Walker is from New Zealand. he has released his own music and produces other artists. Call It Grace was one of three top ten CCM hits from the album. Mattson and Lowry write most of the songs. They have released three albums, most recently in 2019. Gomez left in 2018. They replaced him with two guys but they didn't stay. So now Unspoken is down to being a trio. Where do they go from there? Here's the video for Call It Grace by Unspoken.
