Artist:Post Malone
Song:Circles
Album:Hollywood's Bleeding
Post Malone started out as a mix of hip hop and other styles. But he seems to have gone in a more rock direction with his 2019 album Hollywood's Bleeding and his number one hit Circles. It is his fourth number one hit. He was born Austin Richard Post July 4, 1985 in Syracuse, NY. His father was once a DJ so Malone was exposed to all kinds of music. His family moved to Grapevine, TX after his dad took a job as concessions manager with the Dallas Cowboys. Malone says he learned to play guitar using the popular video game Guitar Hero. He used a rap name generator to get the name Post Malone. He released a mixtape while in high school. After briefly attending college, Malone and his friend Jason Probst moved to Los Angeles. Probst is a professional game streamer. In 2015, he released the single White Iverson to Soundcloud. It got enough attention that record companies came calling. Malone signed with Republic Records and White Iverson reached #14 on the Billboard Hot 100. He recorded with 50 Cent, Young Thug and Kanye West. And then he became friends with Justin Bieber and opened for him. He's not the first to have success after associating with Bieber. Malone has released four albums. Circles is from the 2019 album Hollywood's Bleeding. It's his latest album. Circles topped the Billboard Hot 100. It was the third single. Malone writes and produces everything with the same producers. The two main producers are Louis Bell and Adam Feeney AKA Frank Dukes. He met them through Bieber. Bell produces other artists but Malone is his main guy. Feeney is Canadian so like I said, he's a Bieber guy. The other songwriters are Billy Walsh and Kaan Gunesberk who are associates of Bell and Feeney. Malone recently said he is working on a new album. Is Malone a success because of Justin Bieber? Probably but there's nothing wrong with that. Here's the video for Circles by Post Malone.
