A look at the Kaoru Ito Professional Wrestling Classroom

What do you know? I actually got a fan report on the Apr. 1 Kaoru Ito Professional Wrestling Classroom show at Shin-kiba 1st Ring. I even got a pic from the show courtesy of Takako Inoue. Does Kaoru Ito have a website? Yeah but it's never updated and results of her occasional shows are not posted. I guess it's too much of a hassle to update a website. That's why NEO president Koda and now JWP owner Commando Bolshoi have started seperate blogs. A blog is much easier to deal with. Like Ibuki, the main purpose of Ito's shows is to help her trainees. Ito has hired Ayako Hamada as a full time trainer and Takako Inoue helps out as well. She also brings in veterans for the shows.

The opener is a match between Ito trainees Ayako Sato & Mai Ichii. They're not rookies anymore. Sato trained at AJW in 2002 and left joshi for a couple of years. Ichii worked for Gtkn and most wrestlers need to leave Gtkn to improve. The match was described as an AJW style opener and Sato won with a German suplex at 16:44. Next was rookies Midori vs Tomoko Morii. Another basic match with Midori winning at 6:49. Mariko Yoshida made a guest appearance and beat rookie Uebayashi in 13:01.

Next was a veteran/youngster tag match. Takako Inoue & Hanako Kobayashi (pictured) over Michiko Ohmukai & Ayumi Kurihara. Takako over Kurihara with the back fist at 14:36. The main event was Kaoru Ito & Ayako Hamada vs Manami Toyota & Yumiko Hotta. Apparently it was a much stronger match than anything previous. That's not surprising. There was plenty of action outside the ring. Ito nailed Toyota with her footstamp. But Toyota came back and finished Hamada with the Japanese Ocean Bomb at 25:37. Looks like it was an OK show and the rookies can go back to the classroom now.
