Kimura vs Emoto main event of Korakuen Hall Ibuki show

Ibuki held a press conference Wednesday to announce the complete card of their big May 5 Korakuen Hall show. This is the biggest show in company history and fulfills Mariko Yoshida's goal of running a show at Korakuen Hall. As expected, the main event brings the feud between Kyoko Kimura & Atsuko Emoto to a head. Also, Meiko Satomura will appear on the show and the Mongolian wrestler Yoshida has been training will make her debut.

The press conference began with the introduction of a new trainee named Yuko Motohashi. She has been training with Akiko Nacni at the Gold's Gym Kids and will have an exhibition match on this show. The opening match will have Mai Ichii from the Kaoru Ito Professional Wrestling Classroom vs JD Star's Misaki Ohata. Yoshida's Mongolian trainee will be called Esi and she will make her pro debut teaming with Ran YuYu against Leon & NEO rookie Aya Yuki. In another tag team match, Yoshida's amateur wrestler pal Akiko Nacni will team with Sakura Emi against Ice Ribbon's Aoi Kizuki and the teenager NAO. These two have been trained by their opponents. Nacni memtioned that she won the All Japan amateur championship in Korakuen Hall twenty years ago.

Another tag match has Ayumi Kurihara & Cherry against Rei & Tomoka Nakagawa. Nakagawa trained at A To Z but now works for K-Dojo. Mariko Yoshida then announced that she would team with Meiko Satomura against Shuu Shibutani & Hiroyo Matsumoto. Finally the main event of Kyoko Kimura vs Atsuko Emoto was announced. Both wrestlers were proud to be in the main event and they will put on a good match as a tribute to Yoshida. If you're wondering why Yoshida isn't doing a singles match with Satomura, she likes to keep the focus of Ibuki on the regulars and I agree that Kimura & Emoto deserve the spotlight on this show.
