Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Is Fuuka quitting the joshi business?
Something fishy is going on over at JD Star. The company announced Friday on their website that Fuuka has been scratched from the main event tag team match of the Apr. 22 Shin-kiba 1st Ring show. Mai Ichii will replace her. So the match will now be Shuu Shibutani & Mai Ichii vs Kyoko Kimura & Ayumi Kurihara. The reason given for Fuuka's abscence was "poor health". Fuuka posted on her blog that she took a bump on her eye during training the other day but she didn't say what the health problem is when she announced her abscence from next week's show. Considering recent events, this could be an angle. Fuuka took a beating from Ayako Hamada and was left sobbing in the ring. She described it as the most unpleasant experience of her wrestling career. JD Star has been teasing Fuuka's reluctance to resume her series of Topgun matches against veterans. Is this real or is it an angle? It's too much of a coincidence so I suspect that it's an angle. I'm sure we'll find out next week.
