In the 50s, jazz sax legend Dexter Gordon spent several years in jail due to drug problems. By 1960, he was out of jail and fully recovered. He signed with Blue Note and recorded Go in 1962. It's one of his best recordings and a must for jazz fans. The musicians are Sonny Clark on piano, Butch Warren on bass & Billy Higgins on drums. This version of the old Paul Whiteman hit Three O'Clock In The Morning is beautifully played by this quartet. Soon after, Dexter Gordon would move to Europe and would continue to make great records until he returned to the US in 1976.
