T-1 president Futami won't go away

After the Aug. 26 T-1 GP show, rumours started to surface that T-1 president Futami was finally finished with the joshi business. There appeared to be something to it. He still has his "enforcer" MMA fighter Hikaru Shinohara but he turned his attention to other things. Shinohara appeared in a match for The Jet kickboxing company on Sept. 23 and Futami was in her corner. She won her match. So it was looking like Futami really was leaving the joshi business. If only it were true.

Futami issued a statement on his blog that he plans to appear at M's Style's final show on Oct. 8 at Shinjuku FACE. When he was promoting his most recent T-1 GP show, he kept promising that Michiko Ohmukai would appear on the show. Of course she didn't appear and Futami has typically taken this personally. This seems to be a recurring theme with him. So he's planning to disrupt the M's Style finale. He says he would like Ohmukai to fight Shinohara and he also wants an apology. He claims he's not planning any more T-1 GP shows and just wants to resolve things with Ohmukai. It's very difficult to believe anything he says. I don't know what Futami is up to but we'll find out soon enough.
