Artist:Ty Causey
Song:No Need To Rush
Album:Expressions
Ty Causey is an R & B singer who will likely appeal to an older audience and he's releasing his CDs independently so he has a tough road to hoe. Causey grew up singing in church in his native Indiana and toured for several years with James Cleveland & Shirley Caesar. He got his big break when he appeared on smooth jazz sax player Najee's 1998 CD Morning Tenderness. He toured with Najee and eventually Najee and his bass player Nelson Braxton hellped Causey go solo in 2004. Expressions is his latest CD. He's a very good singer and he writes & produces his own songs. I haven't heard his other CDs but I understand that producer Bert Caldwell has steered him in a more R & B direction. The big problem is he's self releasing his music and that's very difficult to do. I would recommend this to older listeners looking for smooth R & B. Here's the video for Falling For You by Ty Causey
