JWP held a press conference on Monday to announce the main event for the Junior All Star War at Korakuen Hall on Dec. 31. They also promoted this weekend's Shinjuku FACE show with a couple of title matches. It's going to be called the BEST OF JUNIOR 6. The top juniors from six promotions will participate. There will be Arisa Nakajima from JWP, Hiroyo Matsumoto from Ibuki, Aya Yuki from NEO, T-Rex Okuda from Sendai Girls, Hanako Kobayashi from Ito Dojo and Aoi Kizuki from Ice Ribbon. JWP owner Commando Bolshoi hasn't revealed what the match format will be. Maybe she hasn't decided yet. Well, that's a good excuse for another press conference.
The main event of the Oct. 21 Shinjuku FACE show will have Tsubasa Kuragaki & Kayoko Haruyama defending the JWP Tag Team Titles against Etsuko Mita & Manami Toyota. There's a blast from the past. The other title match is a belt vs belt match. It will be JWP Junior Champ Arisa Nakajima vs POP Champ Misaki Ohata. WANTED vs Uematsu will also be featured with Sachie Abe, KAZUKI & Carlos Amano vs Toshie Uematsu, Ran YuYu & Chikayo Nagashima. KAZUKI was wondering why Amano wasn't at the press conference. Uematsu said she called Amano last night and told her the press conference was cancelled. Uematsu kept wandering in and out untill she stayed long enough for pictures. Other matches are Commando Bolshoi & Michiko Ohmukai vs Azumi Hyuga & Kei'to, Ohmukai's final JWP appearance before retirement. Aska Ohki vs Aya Yuki and Kaori Yoneyama vs Tojuki Leon round out the card.
