The Kaoru Ito Professional Wrestling Classroom held their first anniversary show Oct. 13 at Shinjuku FACE. They did debut a new rookie and announced plans for their next show. The rookie is Chiaki Machida and she debuted in the opener. She actually came out on a unicycle. Her opponent was another rookie, Midori. Midori got her in a sleeper and a missile kick. But Machida came back and won with an AJW style hold down at 6:03. Kaoru Ito said Machida needs a lot of work. She's the ninth wrestler to debut for the Ito Dojo. They have a few more in training. Though Midori is a rookie, she's 33 years old. That says something about the state of today's business.
With the exception of the main event, the other matches had a mix of veterans and rookies. Michiko Ohmukai defeated Tomoko Morii with a forearm smash at 9:07. Takako Inoue & Aki Kambayashi defeated Aoi Kizuki & Hanako Kobayashi when Takako use a back blow on Kobayashi at 14:06. Mai Ichii tried to battle Yumiko Hotta but Hotta just swatted her away with a kick, the palm bottom and a pyramid driver for the win at 11:04. The same thing happened to Ayako Sato in her match against Kaoru Ito. Ito used a lariat, a Liger bomb and the diving footstamp for the win at 14:35.
The main event was Manami Toyota against Ayako Hamada. It was a tough match but Ayako won with the AP Cross at 18:36. Afterwards, they held a draw to determine the brackets for a one day tag team tournament that will be Dec. 13 at Shin-kiba 1st Ring. It's Kaoru Ito & TBA vs Ayako Sato & Hanako Kobayashi, Takako Inoue & Mai Ichii vs Ayako Hamada & Aki Kambayashi and Yumiko Hotta & Tomoko Morii vs Manami Yotota & Midori. The winners of matches 1 & 2 will face each other and the winner of that will face the winner of match 3 in the final.
