Anthony David is an R & B singer songwriter best known for his work with R & B superstar India.Arie. He's had some success as a recording artist and had a top 20 R & B hit in 2011 with 4Evermore. he was born Anthony David Harrington Dec. 4, 1971 in Savannah, GA. He moved to Atlanta where he met India.Arie who was recording her debut CD Acoustic Soul. He wrote the song Part Of My life for that album and toured with India for the next few years. David released a couple of CDs independently and continued to work with India. His 2008 CD Acey Duecy was on India's new label Songbird distributed by Universal. It was thought to be David's big break but it didn't work out and Songbird didn't go anywhere. Then David signed with EOne music and released As Above So Below in 2011. The album was produced by Shannon Sanders, one half of the production duo Drew and Shannon. They started out producing Contemporary Christian artists like Rachel Lampa and then got into R & B with India.Arie and Robert Randolph among others. The single 4Evermore reached #18 on the R & B Singles chart. The song features R & B singer Algebra Blessett who is from Atlanta and rapper Phonte from the group Little Brother. If the song sounds familiar, that's because it's based on Enchantment's 1979 single Forever More. David released the CD Love Out Loud in 2012 and he is on tour with Algebra opening for him.
