Big Bad Blog Video Theater-Lina Lansberg vs Macy Chiasson

Here's the match video of Lina Lansberg vs Macy Chiasson from today's UFC show in Denmark. Macy was heavily favored because she was undefeated and Lina even when she wins hasn't been very impressive. On the broadcast they try to make a big deal about her win over an over the hill Tanya Evinger. C'mon man. And round one went as planned. Macy controlled the fight on the fence and won round one 10-9. But in round two Lina wound up in top position. Macy tried for submissions from the bottom. But what she needed to do was get out from under. Lina didn't really do much. It was mostly lay and pray. But it was enough to tire Macy out and she didn't have anything left for round three even with Macy's coach Sayif Saud reading her the riot act between rounds. So I scored both rounds 10-9 for Lina and the fight 29-28 for Lina. One judge scored it that way and the other two scored it 29-27. I didn't think there was a 10-8 round. But I will be interested to see how Macy comes back from a loss. Some fighters handle adversity better than others. And Macy didn't seem to handle it well today. Enjoy the video!
