Here's the match video of Tracy Cortez vs Mariya Agapova from last night's Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series. This fight is at Flyweight. Tracy missed weight the first time but made it on the second try. She is from Scottsdale, AZ. She looked pretty good when I saw her in Invicta. That's a picture of her late brother tattooed on her arm. He was a high school wrestling teammate of Henry Cejudo. Tracy is very good on the ground. Mariya is from Kazakhstan but she trains at American Top Team in Florida. Her record is 6-0 mostly with Fight Night Global. Mariya has a height and reach advantage. At first she's doing OK as long as the fight is standing. But Tracy takes her down halfway through round one. And she dominates from there especially in round two which I thought was 10-8 for Tracy. She keeps trying for a rear naked choke but is not quite able to get a finish. But Tracy is still able to get that UFC contract. She looked pretty good. Enjoy the video!
