Here's the match video of Kairi Sane vs Peyton Royce from last night's episode of Smackdown. Sometimes the WWE tries to cram so much stuff into two hours of Smackdown that we see some very short matches. The IIconics entrance which was mostly making excuses for last week's loss was longer than the match. Kairi got her stuff in including the Insane Elbow and it was over in less than two minutes. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville came out afterwards and I expect that they will face Asuka and Kairi with the winner getting a title shot at Money In The Bank. Already I am seeing fan complaints about how The IIconics are booked as champs. The booking doesn't surprise me as they have been booked as a comedy heel team since their days in NXT. But on the main roster the shtick has taken over the gimmick. They could still do the shtick and be decent wrestlers but that's not what is wanted from them. During their entrance, The IIconics said that Peyton lost last week because she was dehydrated. Peyton said she drank a gallon of water so that won't happen again. After she lost, the WWE did a backstage video of Peyton rushing to the bathroom. That's Vince McMahon's form of humor. Fans want them to be more serious now that The IIconics are champs. But they are transitional champs anyway so I'm not sure it matters. Enjoy the video!
