Holly Holm to make UFC debut on Dec. 5

Holly Holm
On last night's episode of UFC Tonight, it was announced that Holly Holm will make her UFC debut on UFC 181 Dec. 5 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Her opponent will be Russian Milana Dudieva. They wouldn't say the fight is confirmed but UFC Tonight is a Zuffa show. So the fight is happening. Holly was recovering from a broken arm. She is the former boxing champ trying to succeed in MMA. She's 7-0 but she really hasn't fought anyone decent. And I'm not sure Dudieva will be much of a test for her. Milana won her UFC debut by split decision over Elizabeth Phillips on the Aug. 23 Macau show. I scored it for Elizabeth but it was a terrible fight and neither of them deserved to win. Milana apologized afterwards for her performance. She said she was very nervous. I have seen some of her other fights. I don't think she's that good. Her record is 11-3. It's very heavily padded. And two of her losses were to Pannie Kianzad who has a Cage Warriors title fight coming up and current UFC fighter Jessica Andrade. Holly Holm is already perceived as an elite fighter though I think she still needs to prove herself. Milana has never beaten an elite fighter. I doubt Holly will have any trouble with her.
