Sometimes record companies employ very strange marketing strategies. The River is a great song by a young R & B singer named Noel Gourdin. He's 24 years old from Brockton, MA. The guy behind this is KayGee from Naughty By Nature, also the guy behind Jaheim. It looks like the single has been out for a few months. Gourdin says in interviews that his debut album is coming soon but Columbia Records gives no indication of an imminent release. There isn't even a video yet. You might have heard Gourdin singing with rapper Ghostface Killah. You would think that if the CD was really coming out Columbia would be trying to blow him up but it's tough to find info about this guy. I couldn't even find an album cover. The cover is from the single. The River is a great song. I hope the rest of the CD is this good.
