CC Legaspi of Milenio in Mexico reported today that Ketlen Vieira vs Irene Aldana has been added to UFC 245 Dec. 14 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This fight could be for the next Bantamweight title shot. Ketlen us 28 years old from Brazil. Her record is 10-0 and 4-0 in the UFC. She trains at Nova Uniao. The last time we saw her she beat Cat Zingano by split decision on Mar. 3, 2018. Then she had reconstructive knee surgery. We'll see what she is like. But if she's as good as new, she's an elite fighter. Irene is 31 years old from Mexico. She trains with Alexa Grasso at Lobo. Her record is 11-5 and 4-3 in the UFC. She's a points fighter. This is a big step up in competition level for Irene. She hasn't beaten anyone who is anywhere near as good as Ketlen. So if Ketlen is as good as she was before her surgery, she shouldn't have much trouble with Irene. And remember if something goes wrong with the Bantamweight Championship match, one of these two could fill in.EXCLUSIVA: @IreneAldana_ enfrentará a la clasificada número dos del peso gallo de @UFCEspanol , la brasileña @ketlenvieiraufc en #UFC245 https://t.co/aYDvwaVL8d pic.twitter.com/sdKx1xFfva

Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.
