Louis Kevin Celestin is known as Kaytranada. He started out as a DJ but he is now a producer. He does a lot of remixes. Glowed Up was the first single from his 2016 album 99.9%. It did well in the dance market. He was born Aug. 25, 1992 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti but he grew up in Montreal. He got into DJing as a teen and then his brother showed him FL Studio software and he got into production. He started releasing mixtapes as Kaytradamus in 2010. He changed his name to Kaytranada in 2012. A lot of this was uploaded to the internet. He signed with XL Recordings and the album 99.9% was released in 2016. Glowed Up featuring rapper Anderson .Paak was the first single. The album did well on the dance chart. Other guests include Craig David, Vic Mensa and Phonte. Celestin won a Juno and a Polaris Music Prize. He has done many remixes with everyone from Rihanna to a remix album last year called The ArtScience Remixes with jazz musician Robert Glasper. He is currently on tour. I'm sure we will hear plenty from Celestin in the future. Here's the video for Glowed Up by Kaytranada featuring Anderson .Paak.
