Here's the fight video of Jasmine Jasudavicius vs Fatima Kline from last night's UFC show in Denver. This fight is at Flyweight. Jasmine's original opponent was Viviane Araujo who pulled out due to injury. So again the UFC had to scramble to find a short notice replacement. Fatima is 24 years old from Hyde Park, NY. She trains with Erin Blanchfield. I have seen her a few times in Invicta and she's pretty good. The problem is she's a Strawweight. She shouldn't be fighting at Flyweight. She accepted this fight because she was already booked to fight on Contenders Series in Sept. Of course this gets her on the UFC roster. This is how the UFC finds a lot of short notice replacements. So Obviously Fatima was at a size disadvantage and Jasmine won easily be unanimous decision. Jasmine is now 5-2 in the UFC. But if you look at who she has beaten, she should be thankful that Viviane pulled out as she was a step up in competition level. Jasmine's losses are to Tracy Cortez and Natalia Silva. That's level of opponent that she needs to beat. I think Jasmine dodged a bullet. That's the nature of most late notice replacement fights. Enjoy the video!
