Here's the match video of Tabatha Ricci vs Gillian Robertson from yesterday's UFC show in Jacksonville, FL. This fight is at Strawweight. Tabatha is 28 years old from Sao Paulo, Brazil. She trains at Paragon BJJ in Santa Barbara, CA. She's 3-1 in the UFC. Gillian is 28 years old from Niagara Falls, ON. She trains at The Goat Shed in Florida with her longtime coach Din Thomas. She is 9-5 in the UFC as a Flyweight. I don't know why she is fighting at Strawweight. Gillian is a great wrestler and her striking is awful. And that's her problem in this fight. She can't seem to get the fight where she can get in control and finish the fight. Thomas told her what to do but she didn't do it. Tabatha fought a good defensive fight. But I didn't see anything that would make me think she could beat anyone good. It wasn't a very good fight and it was Gillian's fault. Check it out for yourself.
