Here's the match video of JJ Aldrich vs Vanessa Demopoulos from last night's UFC show in Las Vegas. This fight is at Flyweight. Tracy Cortez was supposed to be JJ's original opponent. But she pulled out due to injury. Vanessa has been in the LFA since 2017. She's a Strawweight. She seemed to lose every time there was an opportunity to get to the UFC and that includes a loss to Cory McKenna in Dana White's Contender Series. So at least she finally made it to the UFC. Vanessa trains at Black House in Los Angeles. As expected, I thought JJ would win easily. But what I didn't like was she had a chance to finish this fight and she played it safe like she always does. Commentary mentioned this during the broadcast. We have seen JJ have trouble with better competition. Here's an opportunity to finish a fight and she chooses not to do it. Enjoy the video!
