Here's the match video of Sabina Mazo vs Justine Kish from last night's UFC show in Las Vegas. Sabina is 23 years old from Colombia. She trains with Rafael Cordeiro at Kings MMA in Huntington Beach, CA. And she has also been training with Cris Cyborg. She is known for her head kicks. Justine has been hampered by injuries in her UFC career. She trains at Black House in Los Angeles. Sabina's big problem is she is a slow starter. And though she lands one of her leg kicks early, Justine outworks her for the first two rounds. So she needs a finish in round three. Fortunately with about a minute left in the fight, Sabina drops Justine with a head kick and then finishes her with a rear naked choke. So though Sabina got the win, Cordeiro and the other coaches at Kings need to do something about her slow starts. That almost cost her this fight. And that's not even a physical problem. Really good fight. That was a great head kick by Sabina there in the 3rd and then she took good advantage of that to sink in that RNC. But I liked Kish as well. She was fighting hard all the way up that head kick. David.
