Here's the match video of Ketlen Vieira vs Sijara Eubanks from last night's UFC show in Abu Dhabi. This fight is at Bantamweight. After Marion Reneau pulled out of this fight, Sijara stepped in on short notice. And she just won her last fight two weeks ago. I thought she was biting off more than she can chew. Ketlen trains at Nova Uniao in Brazil. After returning from knee surgery, Irene Aldana knocked her out. That cost her as she would have got that match against Holly Holm that is next week's main event. Ketlen admitted that she got overconfident and she let her guard down. We will see if she learned her lesson. Also, Ketlen's coach Andre "Dudu" Pederneiras tested positive for COVID-19. Bellator fighter Marcos Galvao was in her corner. Round one was close. Sijara was keeping her distance. But as the round went on, Ketlen found her range and landed more strikes and she got a takedown at the end of the round. So I scored it 10-9 for Ketlen. She got a takedown in round two and she was controlling Sijara. But then ref Jason Herzog stood them up probably prematurely. Ketlen kept her poise and continued to outstrike Sijara. I scored the round 10-9 for Ketlen. Sijara's corner told her she was down two rounds. So she was better in round three but it wasn't enough. So I scored the fight 29-28 for Ketlen and so did all three judges. This should get Ketlen back into the title picture. There are two Bantamweight fights next week and she may be fighting one of the winners. Enjoy the video!
