Here's the match video of Taila Santos vs Molly McCann from last night's UFC show in Abu Dhabi. This fight was at Flyweight. Taila is 27 years old from Santa Catarina, Brazil. She was in the Brazilian Contender Series. She lost her UFC debut. She lost the first two rounds but did OK in the third. She said in her post match interview after winning this fight that she was suffering from the UFC jitters. Molly is from Liverpool, England. She is a former Cage Warriors champ but she's a very limited fighter. And that's the story of this fight. Molly can punch but she doesn't do anything else well. And she doesn't even punch hard. Taila is more versatile. She uses knees in the clinch to weaken Molly. And then she takes her down. This happens in all three rounds and Molly had no answer. So Taila won by unanimous decision. I don't think Molly is a UFC caliber fighter. But the UFC needs British fighters on British shows. And Molly is a draw at home. Obviously I would like to see Taila against a better opponent.
