NEO in Osaka

NEO returned to the Delfin Arena in Osaka on Oct. 12 in front of 290 fans. Joshi feds have been doing OK numbers in Osaka but they don't usually advance storylines there. This wasn't any different. Red Passion, Mariko Yoshida & Mima Shimoda all made guest shots. The opener was Etsuko Mita vs Tanny Mouse. It was the usual nonsense. Mita dominated with a surfboard and a piledriver. Tanny slammed Mita's leg into the ring post and grabbed Mita's butt but Mita won with the blazing chop at 8:39. Next is Mariko Yoshida vs Makoto. Yoshida dominates with submission holds. She lets Makoto get in a bit of offense but Yoshida hits an implant buster and ties her up in knots with the spider twist for the win at 7:07. Yoshida brought the Mongolian rookie Esui to face Aya Yuki. Esui recently had her visa renewed so she'll be staying for a while. Esui gets Yuki in a surfboard but Yuki comes back with a dropkick, a body slam and a half crab. Yuki goes to the top corner but gets tossed to the mat. Yuki get an STF followed by a northern lights suplex, a shoulder tackle and a diving head butt to the stomach for the win at 8:56.

Next up is Nanae Takahashi, Natsuki*Taiyo & Kana vs Haruka Matsuo, Fuuka & Shuu Shibutani. Fuuka begins with Natsuki and all three dropkick Fuuka. Kana trades dropkicks with Fuuka and Matsuo tags in. Matsuo dropkicks Kana but Kana responds with a hip attack and tags Takahashi. Takahashi does that spot where she slams Matsuo upside down in the corner. Fuuka comes in and they all footstamp Takahashi. Shibutani tags in and DDTs Takahashi followed by a body scissors. Takahashi comes back with a suplex and tags Natsuki. Natsukiis distracted by Matsuo and Shibutani hits a plancha. Natsuki counters with a leg whip and a figure four leglock. Fuuka & Matsuo break that up but Shibutani is triple teamed and dropped on her face. Fuuka hits a fisherman suplex on Natsuki for two. Natsuki comes off the ropes with a cross body but Fuuka hits a hurricanrana. Kana tags in and exchanges kicks with Fuuka. Kana is trapped in the corner and all three fly in with knees. Matsuo hits a missile dropkick but Takahashi breaks up the pin. Takahashi holds Matsuo and Kana hits a facebuster. Kana get her in a dragon sleeper. Matsuo hits a northern lights suplex for two. Kana responds with a neckbreaker. They go outside and Takahashi hits a suicide dive and Natsuki dives off the top corner on Matsuo & Shibutani. Back in the ring, Red Passion hit a triple flying head butt on Matsuo but fall victim to a triple German suplex. Matsuo rolls up Takahashi for two. Shibutani hits a missile dropkick on Takahashi followed by a plancha. Takahashi lariats Matsuo and then Fuuka. Natsuki hits Shibutani with an assisted power bomb. Takahashi splashes her and gets the win with a backdrop suplex at 20:40.

Next is Yoshiko Tamura vs Yumi Ohka. Ohka hits a high kick but Tamura does that top corner face wash spot. She gets Ohka in an octopus hold but Ohka comes back with a high kick. Tamura hits a northern lights suplex for two. Ohka tries to lift Tamura for a suplex but Tamura blocks it. Ohka goes to the top corner. Tamura grabs her but Ohka gets an armbar over the top rope. Ohka hits a missile dropkick. Tamura hits a brainbuster for two. Ohka hits a German suplex for two. Tamura hits a flatliner for two. Ohka gets a scarf hold and turns it into a German for two but Tamura comes back with several strikes and hits a flying elbow for the win at 12:38. The main event has Kyoko Inoue & Mima Shimoda vs Misae Genki & Yuki Miyazaki. Kyoko gets Miyazakiin the cattle mutilation hold and Shimoda gets her in a Boston crab. Genki tags in and overpowers Shimoda and gets her in a Boston crab. Miyazaki stomps her hands. Kyoko tags in and trades chops with Genki. Shimoda hits a double lariat. Shimoda even dives outside the ring onto Genki. Genki and Kyoko trade power moves but after some chaos, Kyoko wins over Miyazaki with the Niagara driver at 17:14. Yeah, I know. The NEO Machine Gunz always do the job unless they're defending the tag team titles. What else is new?
