Ayumi Kurihara press conference video

Ayumi Kurihara held a press conference yesterday to announce the full card for Starting Over Dec. 14 at Shinjuku FACE. Nikkan Sports posted video footage. Of course Kurihara has been out since the summer of 2007 with a broken clavicle that turned out to be much more serious than originally diagnosed. The odd thing about the show is she is promoting it herself with her parents. Her parents own a roast meat shop so at least the food will be good. Kurihara will be in two matches on the show. She will team with Natsuki*Taiyo vs AKINO & Nanae Takahashi. Of course AKINO was involved in Kurihara's training at M's Style and AKINO said she believes Kurihara is the best of the young wrestlers and she is happy to see her return. Kurihara's other match will be against Shuu Shibutani. Kurihara says they have always had good matches and they were even named Best Bout at the Junior All Star War. Other matches on the show are Kana vs Yuki Miyazaki, Toshie Uematsu & Moeka Haruhi vs Ran YuYu & Fuuka and an over the top rope elimination match with Aja Kong, Bullfight Sora, Tojuki Leon & Ayako Sato vs Mariko Yoshida, GAMI, Kyoko Kimura & Tomoka Nakagawa. Kurihara told Nikkan Sports that she has been training very hard and looks forward to leading this generation of wrestlers. Ayumi Kurihara is always fun to watch. She's has a very appealing girl next door look. It's good to see her return to the ring. Enjoy the video.
