Megumi Kudo to return as special ref

Megumi Kudo is probably the most popular joshi wrestler in North America mainly because of the wide distribution of FMW matches on video. And of course there are also the crazy matches she was in with barbed wire and other stuff. She was probably one of FMW's biggest stars. Kudo retired in 1997 and is married to wrestler Badboy Hido. I always get asked if she'll return to the ring. It was announced today that Megumi Kudo will appear as a special ref on an FMW reunion show on Nov. 24 at Nagasaki University. Apparently it's the 15th anniversary of FMW. According to Kudo's blog, former FMW owner Atsushi Onita met with Kudo a couple of weeks ago and tried to convince her to return as a wrestler. She hadn't seen him in quite a long time. Kudo declined but agreed to appear as a special ref of a barbed wire match. I'm not sure if Kudo still owns a gym as she did a few years ago but she tried unsuccessfully to launch joshi promotions twice including the ill fated Exciting Box a couple of years ago. She does appear as a TV commentator. The card for this show is yet to be announced. Oh and I noticed on Kudo's blog that retired joshi wrestler Kaori Nakayama now has two cute little kids. The accompanying pic of Onita & Kudo was taken today.

    GREAT!
    Who is the father though?
Did she and Masato Tanaka ever get married?
