AccuRadio Song Of the Day-Daniele Silvestri

Artist:Daniele Silvestri

Song:Sempre Di Domenica

Album:Uno-Due

Singer songwriter Daniele Silvestri has been successful in his native Italy since the 90s. He is unknown outside Europe. He was born Aug. 18, 1968 in Rome. His father is writer Albert Silvestri. As a teen he played keyboards in a Duran Duran cover band. When Silvestri's 1994 debut album won a couple of awards at the San Remo Festival, he signed with Sony and he has recorded for them for his entire career. Sempre Di Domenica is from the 2002 album Uno-Due. He returned to San Remo to promote the album and it won couple of awards. So the album was very successful. Silvestri wrote all the songs and plays keyboards and guitar. The producer is Enzo Miceli who has produced all of Silvestri's albums and first suggested he go to San Remo. On Sempre Di Domenica, Mauricio Filardo plays guitar, Nicola "Faso" Fasani plays bass and Antonella Pepe and Emanuela Cortesi are on background vocals. This album is available as a budget CD. It looks like Silvestri is self producing his albums now. That's what he did on his 2023 album Disco X. Here's the video for Sempre Di Domenica by Daniele Silvestri.
