Here's the match video of Jessica Andrade defending her UFC Strawweight Championship against Weili Zhang from today's UFC show in China. I'm sure you already heard about this match. You can't say I didn't warn you. But I don't think anyone expected Weili to finish Jessica in 42 seconds. It's a product of Jessica's fighting style. She always goes forward. And though she's a hard puncher, it makes her easy to hit. And as I said, Weili is much quicker than Jessica. And unlike many female fighters, Weili goes for the kill. So once she hurt Jessica, that was the end. So obviously it's a big win not only for Weili but for China as she is the first Chinese UFC champ. So what's next? Well, my understanding is Rose Namajunas is retired. She was traumatized by that bus attack in Brooklyn. She almost quit then. Tatiana Suarez is out with a neck injury. If she isn't ready, the winner of Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs Michelle Waterson will get the next title shot. Supposedly Michelle was offered the China fight but her husband/manager didn't think Weili was a big enough name. Did she get your attention now? Enjoy the video!
