AccuRadio Song Of The Day-Traci Braxton

Artist:Traci Braxton
Song:Last Call
Album: Crash & Burn

Traci Braxton is the youngest of the Braxton sisters. She scored a top 20 R&B hit with Last Call in 2014 mostly riding the success of the reality series Braxton Family Values. She was born Apr. 2, 1971 in Severn, MD. Like her four older sisters, Traci grew up singing in church. The Braxtons recorded an unsuccessful album in 1989. After Toni became a successful solo artist, the others toured with her as backup singers. The Braxtons signed with Toni's label LaFace in 1993. When Bryant Reid left LaFace for Atlantic, he took The Braxtons with him. After releasing a 1996 album that went nowhere, Traci quit the music business to become a social worker. She returned to music in 2011 after the success of the WE tv reality series Braxton Family Values. Traci also appeared on Marriage Boot Camp. She signed with Soul World Entertainment with eOne distribution. Soul World is owned by David "Davey Boy" Lindsey and Cliff Jones. They produced the 2014 album Crash & Burn. The single Last Call reached #16 on the R&B Singles chart. The music is a throwback to 90s R&B. Traci released a second album On Earth in 2018 but it didn't do as well. Traci continues to appear on Braxton Family Values along with a couple of films. It was certainly a long journey for a chart single. Here's the video for Last Call by Traci Braxton.
