Marion Reneau vs Yana Kunitskaya added to Jan. 26 UFC show

Damon Martin of MMANYTT reported yesterday that Marion Reneau vs Yana Kunitskaya has been added to UFC 233 Jan. 26 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. The UFC hasn't confirmed the fight but Marion retweeted a tweet reporting it. This fight will be at Bantamweight. Marion is 41 years old from Visalia, CA. Her record is 9-4-1 and 5-3-1 in the UFC. I think she's too old and the UFC told her that when she tried out for TUF 18. She got in the UFC as a late replacement. Her big problem is she lacks consistency. She can look really good in one fight and then be awful like she was in her recent loss to Cat Zingano. As long as she is like that, she's a midcard fighter. Yana is 28 years old from Saint Petersburg, Russia. She now trains at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas. Her record is 11-4-1NC and 1-1 in the UFC. She was Invicta Bantamweight Champion when the UFC needed a sacrificial lamb to feed Cris Cyborg. She won her UFC Bantamweight debut over Lina Lansberg. Yana used her ground skills to win. She's an OK but not great fighter. I guess the result of this fight depends on which Marion Reneau shows up. That's what happens when a fighter lacks consistency.
