Here's the match video of Maycee Barber vs Hannah Cifers from Saturday's UFC show in Denver. Maycee is the 20 year old fighter who appeared on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. She's from the Denver area. Hannah was brought in as a late replacement. I watched a couple of her fights. She is a striker. But she had nothing for Maycee who dominated round one and then finished early in round two. Her main weapon was elbows. But Maycee was much bigger and quicker. Hannah was a bloody mess by the time the fight was stopped. Afterwards Maycee called out Mackenzie Dern. She wanted to fight her when both were in the LFA. I would not do that fight yet. For one thing, we don't know of the UFC will force Mackenzie to fight at Flyweight. But even if they allow her to fight at Strawweight, that's a potential money fight that can wait for at least a year depending on how things go for these two fighters. They have plenty of time.
