Combate in Brazil reported yesterday that Alexa Grasso vs Marina Rodriguez has been added to UFC on ESPN+ 2 at the Centro de Formacao Olimpica do Nordeste in Fortaleza, Brazil. This fight is at Strawweight. Alexa is 25 years old. She trains at the Lobo Gym in Guadalajara, Mexico. Her record is 10-2 and 2-2 in the UFC. She's a points fighter, a striker with no ground game. The last time we saw her Tatiana Suarez outclassed her. And she was supposed to fight in August but she got injured. Her main attribute is she is pretty and popular at home in Mexico. But she's not an elite fighter. Marina is 31 years old from Florianopolos, Brazil. Her record is 10-0-1 mostly in the Brazilian regional circuit. She earned a contract in the Brazilian Dana White Contender Series and then in her UFC debut she fought Randa Markos to a draw. She didn't look very good. We could see that here too as neither fighter can finish. I'm not expecting much from this fight.
