Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Marloes Coenen vs Julia Budd to headline Mar. 3 Bellator show
Ariel Helwani of MMA Fighting reported last night that Marloes Coenen will face Julia Budd for the Bellator Women's Featherweight Championship Mar. 3 at the WinStar Casino and Resort in Thackerville, OK. Bellator confirmed the fight this afternoon. It will air on Spike TV. The fan reaction has been "Why has it taken so long?". It's been delayed by injuries. First Marloes was injured. Then Bellator announced the match for May 2016. Remember the kerfuffle when Bellator was going to air it on the online prelims? At least they learned their lesson and they aren't doing that again. Julia pulled out due to injury and Marloes lost to Alexis Dufresne when Marloes stupidly underestimated her. Alexis was offered this fight and turned it down. Meanwhile, the UFC is launching their own Welterweight division with Holly Holm vs Germaine De Randamie. And a rumour surfaced today that Holly broke a rib in training. And Cris Cyborg is headed for a drug suspension. All this nonsense confirms what I have said all along. There aren't enough 145lb fighters for one Welterweight division, let alone UFC, Bellator and Invicta. What a shmozzle!
