Here's the match video of Rin Nakai vs Kanako Murata from last week's RIZIN show. We all know who Rin is. Kanako is an amateur wrestling champ recruited to RIZIN by Olympic wrestling champ Saori Yoshida. After her last fight, Kanako challenged Rin. She said she wanted to test herself. The two agreed to fight at 57kg. The first two rounds of this fight lacked any kind of aggression by either fighter. Rin has been like that for several years. she seems to not know what she wants to do at the start of fights. But Kanako just seemed to go with the flow. I would have liked to see her be more aggressive. I was disappointed with her. So nothing much happened in the first two rounds. In the third round, Kanako goes for a takedown. But it backfires on her. Rin gets her back and a rear naked choke and that's it. Couldn't she have done that in round one?
