JEWELS announced today on their blog two more matches have been added to their July 11 Shin-kiba 1st Ring show. Both matches are scheduled for two five minute rounds. In a 54kg match, Mika Nagano will face the undefeated Rina Tomita (pictured). Nagano is a former amateur grappling champ. Her MMA record is 2-2 and her most recent match was a win over Shinzaki Ozawa on the May 16 JEWELS show. Her losses were to Megumi Fujii and Saori Ishioka. Tomita is Megumi Fujii's younger sister so obviously she trains at AACC. Her record is 2-0 and she beat HARUMI at the Feb. 4 JEWELS show. In a 50kg match, Yukiko Seki will face Asami Kodera. Seki is 5-16 and she most recently lost to Misaki Takimoto on the May 16 JEWELS show. Kodera is a jiu jitsu specialist making her JEWELS debut. She is returning from an injury. Her record is 2-3 and her most recent match was a loss to Mika Nagano on the Apr. 25, 2008 SMACKGIRL show. At this point, this is probably the full card.
