Phil Lanides of the San Jose Examiner reports that MMA superstar Tara LaRosa is in talks to headline an all women's MMA show in San Francisco. The promoter is World Sports Combat Challenge. The show is called Female Fury II and will be on Aug. 1 at the Kezar Pavillion in San Francisco. This was announced at the May 30 WCSC show. WCSC has been around since July 2007 and usually have a mix of MMA and Muay Thai bouts. The first Female Fury was an all Muay Thai show last October. But the big news is that Lanides is reporting Tara LaRosa's participation as a rumour. It has not been confirmed and there is nothing on the WCSC website. But Lanides is also Director Of Media Relations for WCSC so obviously he is an insider. So it's probably more than a rumour.
