Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Yahoo LAUNCHCAST Song Of The Day-Dawkins & Dawkins
Artist:Dawkins & Dawkins f/T-Bone
Song:Wrapped Up
Album:Focus
Gospel music fans who enjoyed this 1998 hit album might be wondering what happened to brothers Anson & Eric Dawkins since they haven't recorded since. They're still around behind the scenes. Like a lot of gospel artists, they grew up singing in church. Daddy was a Pentacostal preacher and they performed with mom at his revivals. Eric learned piano and Anson learned drums. The two were supposed to join the popular gospel group Commissioned in 1992. But Fred Hammond decided to produce them seperately and Dawkins & Dawkins debuted as a duo in 1993. The 1998 CD Focus was on Harmony Records. Harmony was a gospel label owned by heavy metal label Relativity Records. Harmony made a splash with artists like Oleta Adams but then it closed. Dawkins & Dawkins had a lot of success on the gospel charts and they crossed over to hip hop. I guess it wasn't enough to keep the label going. Need To Know was actually a bigger hit but Wrapped Up is an excellent song featuring popular gospel rapper T-Bone. The Dawkins brothers wrote and produced the song with uber producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins. Today Dawkins & Dawkins are very busy writing, producing & arranging other artists. Anson seems to stick to gospel artists like Michelle Williams while Eric has worked with R & B artists like Chris Brown and they work together sometimes. So I don't know if Dawkins & Dawkins will ever record again but Focus is recommended to gospel fans. Here's the video for Wrapped Up by Dawkins & Dawkins featuring T-Bone.
