Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

No more Bullfight Sora
The big story at Pro Wrestling WAVE's June 29 Shin-kiba 1st Ring show was the match between GAMI & Bullfight Sora with the identity of each character up for grabs. If Sora loses, no more cow. If GAMI loses, she becomes Mikiko Futagami and ditches the megaphone. This match was the opener in front of 169 fans. Sora hits an armdrag followed by a front facelock. GAMI comes back with a body slam. Outside the ring, Sora plays Make A Wish with GAMI's legs and the ring post. Ayumi Kurihara is leading her cheering section. Back inside, GAMI hits a superplex. They're showing old pics of GAMI on the video screen. Sora hits an Alabama slam for two and follows with a crossface. GAMI comes back and wins with a powerslam at 13:46. That's the end for Bullfight Sora. Long live Atsuko Emoto.
Next is Kana & Mika Mizunuma vs Ayako Sato & Tomoko Morii. Kana is double teamed but she traps Sato in the corner and stands on her neck followed by a half crab. Mizunuma applies a chinlock on Morii followed by a body scissors. Morii turns that around into a Boston crab. Sato tags in and continues the crab and then throws Mizunuma by the hair. Morii tags in and is met by a Mizunuma lariat. Mizunuma brushes off a Morii dropkick and chokes her with her foot in her corner with Kana's help. Sato & Morii hit two double dropkicks but Mizunuma counters with a double lariat. Kana hits Sato with a facebuster followed by a Dragon sleeper. Sato comes back with a German suplex for two. Morii tags in and slams Kana's head into the mat by the hair. Mizunuma bodyslams Morii and Kana follows with a hip attack. A German suplex and a Billyken gets Kana the win at 14:59.
Next is mean ol' Sayuri Okino against cute little Moeka Haruhi. Okino attacked Haruhi at the last WAVE show. It's pretty much what you would expect. Haruhi has short flashes of offense but is brutalized by Okino. Okino takes Haruhi to the floor and wraps a chain around her neck and drags her around. Okino continues the chain attack in the ring followed by a snap suplex and a bamboo sword over Haruhi's head. Haruhi tries to come back with an arm wringer but Okino stops her with a high kick to the chin. The end comes when Okino hits a backdrop suplex followed by an exploder suplex for the win at 9:49.
Next is Classic WAVE with Manami Toyota vs Noriyo Tateno with the Jumping Bomb Angels reunion coming up. I'm sure a lot of fans haven't seen much of Tateno in recent years as she works mainly in LLPW. Tateno gets a half crab on Toyota. Then a fingerlock and Tateno winds up standing on Toyota's hands. Tateno wraps Toyota's arm in the ropes and pounds her shoulder. She follows this with a scarf hold backbreaker. Toyota comes back with a camel clutch turned into a double toehold and bridge chinlock. Tateno reaches the ropes and replies with her own camel clutch. Toyota's two missile dropkicks send Tateno to the floor and Toyota hits a moonsault from the top rope to the floor. But a moonsault in the ring misses. Of course Toyota has to do a rolling cradle for two. Tateno comes back with a lariat followed by a German suplex for two. Toyota responds with a German suplex for two. Tateno gets a victory roll for two. She hits Toyota with a lariat but then Toyota wins with a sunset flip at 11:58. Tateno thought it was a fast count but then accepts it and congratulates Toyota.
The main event had Toshie Uematsu, Yuu Yamagata & Saki Maemura vs Ran YuYu, Yumi Ohka & Kyoko Kimura. Lately Uematsu has been feuding with her old pal and tag team partner Ran and Uematsu has also been hanging around with the evil Sayuri Okino. That's what this match is about. Uematsu & Ran begin with a test of strength. Ran gets the edge with a fireman's carry but Uematsu comes back with kicks. Ohka tags in and is triple teamed in the corner. Uematsu chokes Ohka on the ropes and then applies a surfboard. Maemura tags in and stands on Ohka in the corner. Ohka whips Maemura into the corner and Ran splashes her followed by Ohka's high kick. Ran traps Yamagata in the cormer and peppers her with punches followed by a knee lift. Ohka tags in and suplexes Yamagata. Maemura tags in and lariats Ohka. She whips Ohka into the corner charges in but Ohka gets her foot up. Then Ohka gets her in a scarf hold surfboard. Maemura escapes and her sunset flip is broken up by Ran. Kimura tags in and hits a brainbuster on Maemura. But takes Kimura in range for Uematsu's missile dropkick. Uematsu hits a dragon suplex for two. But then Sayuri Okino nails Kimura with her bamboo sword and Uematsu covers her with a schoolboy for the win at 16:32. Afterwards, Yamagata grabbed the mic and told Uematsu & Ran that a tag team as great as them shouldn't be fighting with each other. She tells them to shake hands and make up. That's what they do and Uematsu starts bawling. So they're pals again just in time for the WAVE 1st anniversary tag team tournament.
