Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Polyana Viana vs Hannah Cifers added to Mar. 2 UFC show
Brett Okamoto of ESPN reported today that Polyana Viana vs Hannah Cifers has been added to UFC 235 Mar. 2 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This fight is at Strawweight. Polyana is 27 years old from Brazil. Her record is 10-2 and 1-1 in the UFC. In her last fight we saw that Polyana has trouble with striking. JJ Aldrich used a keep away strategy and Polyana couldn't catch up to her. She will need to improve or she will have problems. Polyana has been in the news recently. A few days ago she was waiting for Uber and some guy tried to rob her. She beat the crap out of him. This story got international attention. Hannah is 26 years old from Oxford, NC. Her record is 8-3 and she lost her UFC debut to Maycee Barber. Hannah came in as a late replacement. Maybe she will be better with a full camp. Hannah is a striker so she can win if she can avoid takedowns. She may try the keep away strategy that was effective against Polyana.

I saw that story on Twitter about Polyana and I loved it!! It was a nice change to see a woman defend herself and take it to a would be robber and a punk. Good for her. We will see how she does in the cage. Thanks for the news of these fighters and of the others on your Blog Frank. Yours David.
