North Point Worship should interest P&W fans especially since the now famous Lauren Daigle started out there. But as I have said in the past, the audience for this kind of music isn't very demanding. They'll eat it up. I hate this song in particular because it almost sounds like they copied it and I know they write and produce everything in house. North Point Community Church was started in the Atlanta suburb of Alpharetta, GA in 1995 by Andy Stanley. Now they have eight locations and in 2018, CBS News named North Point the second largest megachurch in the US. Then they started their high school ministry The InsideOut and the music ministry came out of that in 2012. They started out distributing their own music. But when Lauren Daigle signed with the CCM label Centricity, part of the deal is that North Point Worship got their own deal plus a cut of Lauren's deal. This Is My Song was released as a single in 2022. I wasn't sure if it was only a single or it was released on an album. It's on this live album Our God Will See Us Through and available as a digital download. The guest singer is Mac Powell of Third Day. Heath Balltzglier is the culprit who wrote and produced this song. P&W all sounds the same to me anyway. But this song is even worse as it seems to regurgitate the usual P&W talking points that I hate but the faithful eat it up. At least the video is professionally produced.
