Here's the match video of Io Shirai, Kairi Sane and Bianca Belair vs Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir and Shayna Baszler from this week's episode of NXT. Obviously this is the beginning of the build to the Wrestlemania weekend Takeover show. As you will see, the babyface team is an uneasy alliance that I think will lead to a Io vs Bianca feud. First, thumbs up to Bianca's Black History Month tights. Bianca starts the match with Shayna. When Shayna doesn't like how things are going, she tags Marina in. Kairi tags in and Bianca lifts her to a press position and drops her on Marina. But a distraction gives the heels the advantage and they beat on Kairi until she gets the hot tag to Io. Io runs wild and then tags Kairi. Then Kairi reaches for Io but Bianca tags in. Bianca hits her KOD finisher on Shayna but the other two break it up. While Kairi does a cross body to the outside to get rid of Jessamyn and Marina, Io tags herself in and hits her moonsault on Shayna for the win. Of course commentary makes a big deal out of Io pinning Shayna. Bianca did not look pleased especially when Kairi started playing with her hair. So I expect this to lead to a three way championship match at Takeover with Shayna vs Io vs Bianca. And after that we should see a Bianca vs Io feud. I prefer Bianca as a heel. It really depends on if Shayna is finally moved up to the main roster. And I also think Kairi is ready for that. She filled in on last weekend's Smackdown house shows when Becky Lynch was pulled due to her storyline knee injury. Kairi's surprise appearance made up for no Becky. Clearly Kairi is ready for the main roster. In the meantime, enjoy the video!
