Here's the match video of Asuka and The Miz vs Carmella and Big E from last night's WWE Mixed Match Challenge. This airs live on Facebook Watch which is only available in the US. It will be on the WWE Network on Thursday. I assume Facebook Watch exclusivity is in WWE's contract with Facebook. So of course I am posting this video for Asuka's international fanswho won't get to see it live. Asuka and The Miz may seem like an odd team. But Asuka is very versatile and she can do anything that needs to be done including comedy spots. The first thing I noticed is that Asuka is wearing the costume she wore when she first came to NXT. I don't know why but she changes her costume all the time. Carmella and Big E did a video where Carmella said she would give Asuka her first L, meaning loss. So they gave her a big L. At first Asuka looked pleased. Then she tore it up and threw it at Carmella. Carmella tagged out immediately. The Miz and Asuka do a comedy spot with kicks. The Miz and Big E have an extended segment. Carmella didn't want to tag in. But Big E got in trouble so she had no choice. The fans were chanting for Asuka anyway. Then Carmella hit a superkick on Asuka. But she wastes time and then she slaps Asuka. She shouldn't have done that. Asuka fires up and ends things with her armbar. Asuka and The Miz will face Sasha Banks and Finn Balor in the next round. They are interviewed. They are doing bits where Asuka speaks Japanese and The Miz pretends to know what she's saying. Believe me, her English is better than his Japanese. I thought they worked well together. The Miz is a smart guy and he wants to give the rub to Asuka. Enjoy the video.
