Here's the S-Arena video digest for Thursday's Pro Wrestling WAVE show. They're doing some sort of convoluted Captain's Fall tournament and this show had the first part of this nonsense. There's even a fifth team that hasn't been announced yet. Huh? The main thing you'll notice in this video is even the wrestlers don't know what the hell is going on. They all have puzzled looks on their faces. And if they can't figure it out, how the hell are fans supposed to make any sense out of it. Maybe GAMI is auditioning for a job working for TNA. She'd fit right in with this crap.
Very weird, although I feel TNA has been booked quite well the past few months despite some minor pitfalls.

Traditionally a Captain's Falls match is an elimination match. When the team captain is pinned, the match is over. This isn't being booked like that so I don't think anyone knows what it's supposed to be.
ReplyDeleteThe idea of this match is that the "captain" is secret and the match continues until you pin the captain. When non-captains get pinned, they are NOT eliminated, which is dumb. For instance, Mizunami got pinned by GAMI, but got to stay in because she wasn't the captain. Later, she pins GAMI, who was the captain.
ReplyDeleteIn the "second chance match", Yumi Ohka pinned GAMI and Io Shirai in the first few minutes of the match, but neither of them were the captain. So it is now revealed that Mio must be the captain and thus should never tag in.
The 5th team will be Bullfight Sora, KAORU, and Cherry. They wasted time with a comedy 3 way match at this show.
Whatever. It's ludicrous booking. That's what I hate about WAVE. GAMI is an idiot.
