Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Fujii vs Tomomi at Nov. 23 Shooto show
Shooto held a press conference today to announce several matches for their Nov. 23 JCB Hall show. A women's match added to the show as a timefilling throwaway match will have Megumi Fujii (pictured) facing WINDY Tomomi. The match is scheduled for two five minute rounds. I didn't see a contracted weight. Tomomi is normally heavier than Fujii. but has come down to 115lb in the past. It doesn't matter to Fujii. Fujii's record is 18-0 and is considered one of the best fighters in the world today. Her latest win was over Saori Ishioka at the July 11 JEWELS show. Tomomi's record is 12-11-1 and her most recent fight was a loss to MIKU on the Oct. 10 DEEP show. I guess it could be said that she's going from the frying pan into the fire. Tomomi is known mostly for her punching power but is very vulnerable on the ground. If Fujii takes her down, this could be over very quickly. It's a big show in a big hall and Fujii doesn't have to deal with ridiculous ground and pound restrictions. So I understand why she wants to be on shows like this. It just seems like a waste for Mega Megu to be on any undercard.
