All titles retained at Dec. 9 JWP show

All three titles were on the line at JWP's Dec. 9 Korakuen Hall show but none of them changed hands. The show started with the debut of teenager Mayuca Shinzaki against Arisa Nakajima. Apparently Mayuca looked pretty good for someone appearing in her debut and was compared favourably with NEO rookie Nagisa Nozaki. Nakajima won with a missile kick at 8:33. Tyrannosaurus Okuda came from Sendai to defend her JWP Junior & POP Titles against Aska Ohki. Okuda successfuly defended the title with a German suplex at 11:26.

Next up was called a Tag Team Festival. It was Manami Toyota, Etsuko Mita, Kei'to & Carlos Amano vs Sachie Abe, KAZUKI, Toshie Uematsu & Ran YuYu. I guess the idea was to team up established tag teams. It was played mostly for comedy and apparently Uematsu was pretty funny. Toyota won over KAZUKI with the Japanese Ocean Queen Bee Bomb at 14:42. Tojuki Leon defeated Commando Bolshoi with a captured buster at 13:02.

Tsubasa Kuragaki & Kayoko Haruyama defended their JWP Tag Team Titles against the CHICK FIGHTS SUN team of Nanae Takahashi & Natsuki*Taiyo. Haruyama pinned Takahashi with the Keene Hammer at 20:24. I guess they're trying to take advantage of Haruyama's recent tournament win at SUN. The main event had JWP Open Weight Champion Azumi Hyuga successfully defending over Kaori Yoneyama with a diving knee drop to the back of the head at 19:26. Yoneyama had some close falls but I don't think anyone believes she can beat Hyuga. A change would have been a huge upset and wasn't going to happen. JWP has some shows coming up but the big one is the Junior All Star War on New Year's Eve.
